Happy Aloha Friday
We hope to see YOU tonight in Makawao.
Spring Time Blues!
On Friday, May 15, 2015 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, Makawao Third Friday event has the theme of “Spring Time Blues,” featuring a classic car show and music on the mainstage by local band, Rosalind Modica’s Blues Society. Makawao Elementary 5th grade students will be performing 3 songs at the main stage at 6:15. You can also hear live music by Sweet Yum Yum Beets on the porch of the Sherrie Reeve Gallery. DJ Blast will be set up in the Maui Hands parking lot.
We are excited to host Rainbow Island Puppets in the keiki zone near Makawao Steak House. Also located near the keiki zone is Maui’s own ice cream visionary, Coconut Glen, who will be serving his vegan treats in the illusive Bubble Bus, while hosting children of all ages in activities to promote both the education of sustainability, and encourage the concept of the eternal child. Other keiki activities include, balloon animals, face painting, and henna tattoos.
Join us for dinner at our pop up food court or one of our award winning Makawao restaurants.

If it’s the third Friday of the month, there’s a party in Makawao.
This paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) town may be small, but it’s unmistakably big on charm. Makawao has successfully retained its peaceful, balanced nature and picturesque setting, nestled against a sea of rolling green.
The town is a gathering place for both old timers and new comers, embracing an older time and slower pace. Still it has grown into a lively community with talented, locally grown entrepreneurs.
Come join us on the third Friday of every month to celebrate Upcountry Maui, the Makawao way.
